Lim Young-woong Tops Poll as Most Desired Trot Singer to Exercise With in 2026

Lim Young-woong has been voted as the number one trot singer people want to exercise with in the New Year of 2026.

From January 5th to 11th, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which male trot singer would you like to exercise with to stay healthy in the New Year?' Lim Young-woong emerged as the top choice.

Lim Young-woong has dominated the Billboard Korea charts, showcasing his music power in the second week of January. He made a significant impact on the new K-Music charts supported by Billboard, proving his strength in both domestic and international music scenes. According to Billboard Korea, Lim Young-woong had four songs in the 'Billboard Korea Global K-Songs' Top 100 and impressively placed 15 songs on the 'Billboard Korea Hot 100', a chart focused on the Korean market.

Coming in second is Song Min-jun. His solo concert, '2025 Song Min-jun Solo Concert Chapter 4', concluded successfully on December 25th. Held at the Woonjung Green Campus Auditorium of Sungshin Women's University in Gangbuk-gu, the concert was a warm gift for fans on Christmas Day, featuring a diverse setlist and rich performances over 165 minutes. Song Min-jun gained popularity after winning the trot audition program 'Golden Mic' and finishing 8th in TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot 2'.

In third place is Kim Yong-bin. On January 11th, he shared a photo of his appreciation plaque for the Jirisan Evergreen Volunteer Award on his social media story. The plaque acknowledges his contributions to the community and neighbors through his music activities, with the award date marked as January 11, 2026. Kim Yong-bin expressed his gratitude with a simple message, "Thank you," accompanied by a heart emoji.

Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which male singer seems like they would tie your scarf in the windy winter?', 'Which female singer seems like they would tie your scarf in the windy winter?', 'Which male trot singer seems like they would tie your scarf in the windy winter?', and 'Which female trot singer seems like they would tie your scarf in the windy winter?'
