NewJeans' Danielle to Connect with Fans via Instagram Live Amid Contract Dispute
On the 12th, Danielle's legal representative from the law firm HwaWoo announced that she will be hosting a live broadcast on her personal Instagram account at 7 PM.
The legal representative explained that this live session is an opportunity for Danielle to personally greet her fans both domestically and internationally. The broadcast will be streamed live on Instagram and her personal YouTube channel.
Recently, Danielle launched a personal Instagram account using her name and nickname, where she posted the message "for those who waited."
Regarding speculations about her potential solo activities, the legal representative clarified, "This live session is purely for communication with fans and is unrelated to any legal proceedings."
ADOR announced last December that they had decided it was difficult for Danielle to continue as a member of NewJeans and an artist under ADOR, leading to the termination of her contract. Members HaeRin, HyeIn, and Hani have returned to ADOR, while MinJi is reportedly in discussions with the agency about her return.
Subsequently, ADOR filed a lawsuit seeking damages amounting to 43.1 billion KRW against Danielle, a family member, and Min Hee-jin, the former CEO of ADOR. Danielle has appointed a legal representative to respond to the lawsuit.
