Stray Kids to Headline The Governors Ball Music Festival in New York
The group will take the stage as headliners on June 6th at the festival, which runs from June 5th to 7th at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in New York City.
The Governors Ball Music Festival is a major outdoor music event held annually in New York, featuring top pop stars like Eminem, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo, and Tyler, The Creator as headliners in previous years. This year, Stray Kids will join the ranks as a headlining performer.
Stray Kids have previously headlined other major festivals such as Lollapalooza Paris, I-Days, BST Hyde Park, and Lollapalooza Chicago. They are also confirmed as headliners for Brazil's massive music festival, Rock in Rio, on September 11th. This year, Stray Kids are set to highlight several music festivals, solidifying their presence as 'global headliners.'
Stray Kids have achieved eight consecutive number-one records on the Billboard 200, the main album chart in the United States, and continue to perform well on the chart. According to Billboard's official website on January 6th, their fourth studio album 'KARMA' ranked 117th on the January 10th chart, marking its 19th consecutive week on the chart and setting a new personal record for the longest charting period. SKZ IT TAPE 'DO IT' is also maintaining a strong position, ranking 19th on the same chart for six consecutive weeks.
In the 2025 Retail Album Chart by Circle Chart, which accumulates offline album sales, 'KARMA' ranks first and 'DO IT' ranks second, dominating both domestic and international music charts. Stray Kids continue to build their career with impressive records in the global music market, carrying their momentum into the new year.
