Kim Eui-young Tops Poll as Most Desired Trot Singer to Spend a Quiet Year-End With
From December 15 to 21, TENASIA conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would you like to spend a quiet year-end with?' Kim Eui-young emerged as the top choice.
Kim Eui-young made her official debut as a trot singer after finishing in the TOP 5 on TV Chosun's 2020 show 'Miss Trot 2.' In May, she released her fourth single 'STARTrot PART.1,' produced by Kim Hyung-seok. The title track 'Do Whatever You Want'(하고 싶은 거 다 해) is a bright and lively dance trot song that showcases Kim's refreshing charm.
In second place is singer Jeon Yu-jin. Last month, on the 22nd and 23rd, she successfully held her first fan concert 'Twenty' at Kyung Hee University's Peace Hall. Her 'Twenty' fan concert will continue with a nationwide tour starting in Busan on January 10. Jeon Yu-jin recently signed an exclusive contract with the new agency J Label（제이레이블） and completed her activities for 'Childlike Slumber.'
Singer Kim Da-hyun took third place. She is set to hold her debut solo concert in March next year. Kim Da-hyun's nationwide solo concert tour, themed 'Dream,' will kick off in Seoul, move to Busan and Daegu, and eventually reach Japan. Her agency stated, "Kim Da-hyun is looking forward to a busy and exciting new year with her solo concert. As 2026 is the Year of the Horse, she plans to continue her vigorous activities like a horse running through green fields starting in March."
