50-Year-Old Woman Charged for Attempted Break-In at BTS Jungkook's Home

A 50-year-old woman has been charged by police for attempting to break into the home of BTS member Jungkook.

On the 22nd, the Seoul Yongsan Police Station announced that they had charged a 50-year-old Japanese woman, identified as A, on the 16th for attempted home invasion. The investigation was initiated following a complaint, and charges under the Anti-Stalking Act have also been applied at the request of the complainant.

A is accused of attempting to unlock the security system of Jungkook's single-family home in Yongsan District multiple times between the 12th and 14th of last month. As A is not currently residing in the country, she has not yet been questioned.

Jungkook has previously been a victim of home invasion attempts. In August, a 40-year-old Korean woman was charged with home invasion and violation of the Anti-Stalking Act after entering Jungkook's home parking area. In another incident, a 30-year-old Chinese woman received a deferred prosecution for an attempted break-in.
