Brand New Music to Release Tribute Single 'RE:BRANDNEWAL' Honoring Late As One Member

Brand New Music is set to release their label project single, BRANDNEW YEAR 2025 'RE:BRANDNEWAL', on December 15 at 6 PM.

The annual year-end signature project 'BRANDNEW YEAR' by Brand New Music carries the theme 'RE:BRANDNEWAL' this year, aiming to 'renew the newness of Brand New Music'. The title combines 'RE:' (again, reply), 'BRANDNEW', and 'Renewal', reflecting the label's commitment to redefining its identity and returning to its roots.

This single holds special significance as it is a tribute to the late As One member, Lee Min, aligning with her birthday on December 15. The song '十二夜 (Twelve Nights)', originally released by As One in 2006, has been reinterpreted with Brand New Music's unique emotional touch.

Lee Min tragically passed away at the age of 46 in her home last August. Brand New Music stated, "Her husband discovered her upon returning home on the night of the 5th and reported it. The sudden news has left her family and everyone at Brand New Music in deep shock and sorrow."

For this release, As One's member Crystal participates in her first solo performance since debut, maintaining the original song's warm and delicate sentiment. Artists like Hanhae, Verbal Jint, Kebee, Bumkey, Vincent Blue, and Lee Dae-hwi (AB6IX) add their unique styles, enriching the R&B/Soul sound.

The music video teaser, released on December 12, features a poignant scene of a mother and child gazing at each other in a snowy field, enhancing the emotional depth of the song. Notably, the entire music video was produced using AI technology, visually emphasizing Brand New Music's message of innovation and change.

Through this project, Brand New Music aims to pay tribute to the late artist while showcasing the label's enduring essence and future direction.
