NEWBEAT Takes U.S. Music Scene by Storm with 'Look So Good'

The group NEWBEAT is making waves in the U.S. music market with their impressive chart performance.

NEWBEAT, consisting of members Park Min-seok, Hong Min-sung, Jeon Yeo-jeong, Choi Seo-hyun, Kim Tae-yang, Jo Yoon-hoo, and Kim Ri-woo, achieved a remarkable feat on October 12th. Their double title track 'Look So Good' from the mini-album 'LOUDER THAN EVER' topped six categories on Amazon Music in the U.S.

'Look So Good' claimed the number one spot on charts such as 'Far East & Asia Best Sellers', 'Songs Hot New Releases', 'International Hot New Releases', 'Far East & Asia Hot New Releases', 'Movers & Shakers', and 'International Best Sellers'. Additionally, it secured the 5th position on the 'Songs Best Sellers' chart, showcasing its reverse trend momentum.

Previously, 'Look So Good' made its mark on the iTunes charts in seven countries shortly after its release on September 6th. It also reached the 80th position on the Top Pop Chart on the U.S. music platform Genius, being the only K-pop act to do so at the time.

This success is attributed to NEWBEAT's global strategy, which includes English lyrics for all tracks and collaborations with renowned international producers. The album features contributions from top-tier producers like Neil Ormandy, who has worked with Billboard TOP10 artists, and Candace Sosa, known for her work with BTS, enhancing the album's quality.

NEWBEAT is not only making a mark on global charts but also achieving significant milestones, such as winning their first rookie award. On October 12th, they released a Chinese version of 'Cappuccino', marking the start of their activities in the Chinese market. As NEWBEAT continues their dynamic journey, their future endeavors are highly anticipated.

The group is set to hold their debut solo concert 'Drop the NEWBEAT' on January 18th at 5 PM at YES24 Wonderluck Hall.
