ITZY's Yeji Shines with Solo Debut 'Air' on NME's Best K-Pop Songs of 2025
ITZY's Yeji has made a remarkable solo debut with her track 'Air,' which has been recognized by the UK music magazine NME as one of the '25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2025.'

On December 10th, NME published its list of 'The 25 Best K-pop Songs of 2025' on its official website, where Yeji's solo debut song 'Air' was featured, highlighting her global appeal.

NME praised Yeji's solo debut, stating, "Yeji's solo debut was one of the most satisfying surprises of 2025. She masterfully navigates the song with a breathtaking tension over the beat, delivering an increasingly intense emotional atmosphere as the climax approaches. The electrifying guitar sound enhances 'Air's' brilliance."

Previously, Yeji's 'Air' was also selected by Billboard in July as one of the '25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2025 (So Far),' acknowledging her prowess as a '4th generation top performer.' The song, co-written by Yeji, is a synth-pop track with an addictive hook that showcases her talents. Yeji's unique movements and breathtaking performance further establish her potential as a solo artist.

Recently, ITZY completed their comeback activities with the new album 'TUNNEL VISION' and its powerful title track of the same name, earning them a music show trophy and solidifying their status as 'K-pop's performance queens.' Additionally, their mini-album 'Girls Will Be Girls,' released in June, was featured on Spotify's 'Best of K-POP ON! 2025' playlist, curated by the platform's music editors.

Continuing their momentum, ITZY is set to embark on their new world tour, 'ITZY 3RD WORLD TOUR < TUNNEL VISION >,' starting with a three-day performance at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul from February 13 to 15 next year.
