K-Pop sensation Nam Woo-hyun has been honored with the K-POP Award at the Korea Culture and Entertainment Awards.

The prestigious event took place on November 10 at the Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel.

Nam Woo-hyun, known for his versatile artistry, has made a significant impact this year with his album releases, concerts, musicals, and OST contributions, earning him this esteemed recognition.

Upon receiving the award, Nam Woo-hyun expressed his gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank you for this wonderful award. I will work even harder to continue being a beloved artist. Above all, I am most grateful to my beloved fans, 'Sprout.'"

In August, Nam Woo-hyun released his fifth mini-album 'Tree Ring,' showcasing his growth as a solo artist by participating in writing and composing all the tracks. The album achieved a 'career high' with over 44,000 copies sold in its first week, capturing the attention of global fans.

Additionally, he held a solo concert titled 'Arbor Day 5 - Namugo: Tree High School' in the same month, kicking off an Asia tour with a sold-out show in Seoul. He continued to perform in Macau, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, and Hong Kong.

Nam Woo-hyun is also set to star in the musical 'Sugar,' opening on December 12, where he will play the role of Joe (Josephine), a romantic saxophonist who disguises himself as a woman to survive.

Celebrating its 33rd year, the Korea Culture and Entertainment Awards is a comprehensive arts award ceremony that spans various cultural and artistic fields, including film, drama, music, K-POP, and musicals. Nominees are selected based on a combination of online votes and evaluations by cultural and entertainment experts.
