G-Dragon Wins Artist of the Year at 2025 MAMA Awards

G-Dragon has been awarded the prestigious Artist of the Year at the 2025 MAMA Awards.

The 2025 MAMA Awards took place on the 29th at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-fat, who took the stage as a presenter, requested a moment of silence, asking the audience to stand in support of the residents of Hong Kong's Tai Po area, expressing condolences to the families who lost loved ones.

G-Dragon, the recipient of the grand prize, shared a warm embrace with Chow Yun-fat on stage. Overcome with emotion, he said, "Thank you. I'll see you again in part three. I made a comeback through MAMA last year, but this year feels different," as he struggled to hold back tears.

Regaining his composure, G-Dragon continued, "It's a happy day, but also a sad one. It's an honor to receive this from my idol, Chow Yun-fat, on MAMA's 30th anniversary. Thank you and love you all." He added, "Next year marks BIGBANG's 20th anniversary. I promise to come back with my friends for a party so I won't be lonely."

Earlier, G-Dragon also won the 'Best Dance Performance Male Solo' and 'Best Male Artist' awards, making him a triple crown winner at the event.
