IVE Wins 'Favorite Global Performer' at 2025 MAMA Awards and Extends Condolences to Hong Kong Fire Victims

The K-pop group IVE took home the 'Favorite Global Performer' trophy at the 2025 MAMA Awards.

The prestigious event was held on the 28th at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong.

Upon receiving the award, IVE's An Yujin expressed gratitude to their fans, known as DIVE, saying, "Thank you for this wonderful award. We will continue to grow and work hard, never forgetting that it's all thanks to your support."

An Yujin also extended condolences regarding the recent tragic fire in Hong Kong, stating, "We express our deepest condolences and sympathy to those affected by the recent unfortunate incident in Hong Kong. We hope for a swift recovery and peace for the victims."

On the afternoon of the 26th (local time), a massive fire broke out in a high-rise apartment complex in the Tai Po area of northern Hong Kong. The fire resulted in over 100 fatalities, 76 injuries, and left more than 200 people missing.

IVE participated in a donation relay to express their condolences. Through their official Weibo account, IVE shared, "We are deeply saddened and pained by the news of the massive fire in Hong Kong that has caused significant harm to many." They continued, "In this difficult time, we cautiously extend our heartfelt condolences by donating 500,000 Hong Kong dollars (approximately 95 million Korean won) to the Hong Kong Red Cross for emergency relief and disaster recovery."
