K-Pop Group NOWZ Shares Excitement Over Appearance on Popular YouTube Show 'Hong Seok-cheon's Jewel Box'

K-pop group NOWZ recently expressed their excitement about appearing on the popular YouTube show 'Hong Seok-cheon's Jewel Box'.

The group held an interview at a café in Cube Entertainment's building in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their third single 'Play Ball'.

Members Yoon, Jinhyuk, and Siyun appeared on the show in July, showcasing great chemistry with host Hong Seok-cheon. Hong had previously appeared in NOWZ's music video for their digital single 'Let's Get It' last November and made a surprise appearance at their busking event in Hongdae.

Siyun shared, "I was thrilled to hear we would be on 'Jewel Box'. There's a saying that groups who appear on the show succeed. I was happy to know that Hong Seok-cheon thinks highly of us." Yoon added, "I felt a lot of pressure because it's a famous show, but they made us feel comfortable, so it was fun to shoot." Jinhyuk also commented, "I was a bit disappointed that Siyun was his favorite, but it was still enjoyable."

Hyeonbin, who did not appear on the show, jokingly expressed his disappointment, saying, "During the music video shoot, he said I was his favorite. But he didn't invite me to 'Jewel Box', which made me a bit sad."

NOWZ's new single 'Play Ball' features the title track 'HomeRUN', an EDM-based dance song with heavy drops and bold rapping, depicting the challenges and achievements of youth turning uncertain futures into opportunities. The single also includes 'GET BUCK', showcasing NOWZ's ambitious spirit, and the emotionally resonant 'Run with me'.

'Play Ball' by NOWZ will be released on various music streaming sites at 6 PM on the 26th.
