TWICE's 'Strategy' Achieves Historic RIAA Platinum Certification in the U.S.
TWICE's 'Strategy' has made history by becoming the first K-pop girl group song to receive a Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) with over 1 million units sold in the United States.
On the 26th, the RIAA announced on its official website that 'Strategy,' a track from TWICE's 14th mini-album, has achieved Platinum status. Previously, TWICE received Gold certifications for 'The Feels' and 'I CAN'T STOP ME,' and with this Platinum certification, they now hold the highest RIAA certification among K-pop girl groups.

The RIAA awards certifications based on sales in the U.S., with Gold for 500,000 units, Platinum for 1 million, Multi-Platinum for 2 million, and Diamond for 10 million.

'Strategy' was featured on the Netflix original soundtrack for 'K-pop Demon Hunters,' contributing to its success, and it remained on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 17 consecutive weeks. Achieving Platinum status in less than a year since its release, the song has reaffirmed its global popularity.

Celebrating their 10th anniversary, TWICE is currently on their sixth world tour, 'THIS IS FOR,' performing 74 shows across 43 locations worldwide.
