Ariana Grande Hints at Hiatus from Touring After 2026 'Eternal Sunshine' World Tour
In a recent appearance on the podcast 'Good Hang,' Grande discussed her 2026 world tour, 'Eternal Sunshine,' stating, "This tour might be my last stage performance for a while." She added, "Right now, it feels like a 'one last hurrah,' and while I don't want to make any definitive statements, I might not perform for a long time afterward."
Grande explained that her focus has shifted in recent years as she has concentrated more on acting. "For the past 10-15 years, I've dedicated almost all my time to pop music," she said. "Now, I feel closer to myself and my work." She continued, "I grew up loving musicals and comedy. At this moment, choosing the path that feels right seems more fitting for my art and life."
She also mentioned her current film project, saying, "The script immediately resonated with me. It's fun, and the cast is amazing, so I decided to join." Additionally, Grande confirmed her upcoming role in a TV series following the release of the movie 'Wicked: For Good,' noting, "These new ventures feel like the time I need."
Previously, Grande expressed a desire to take a break from music after her 2020 album 'Positions.' However, she found inspiration while working on the musical film 'Wicked,' leading her to complete the album 'Eternal Sunshine.'
Ariana Grande debuted in 2013 with her first studio album 'Yours Truly,' establishing herself as a global pop artist. She has since expanded her career into film and television, continuing her journey as an actress.
