82MAJOR Teams Up with Global DJ for 'TROPHY' Remix Release

GREAT M Entertainment's 82MAJOR collaborates with a global DJ.

Today, at noon, the group 82MAJOR (comprising Nam Seong-mo, Park Seok-joon, Yoon Ye-chan, Cho Seong-il, Hwang Seong-bin, and Kim Do-gyun) will release 'TROPHY (Jeonghyeon Remix)' on various online music platforms.

This track is a remix of the title song 'TROPHY' from their mini 4th album, released on the 30th of last month. 82MAJOR aims to infuse the original tech-house genre track, known for its powerful bassline, with global EDM elements to offer a fresh appeal.

The remix production features Jeonghyeon, a next-generation DJ and producer representing the Korean EDM scene. Jeonghyeon has received official support from Dutch superstar DJ Martin Garrix and has showcased his talent on global stages, including Japan's largest dance music festival, 'Ultra Japan.'

Given the original 'TROPHY' track's addictive sound and overwhelming performance, 82MAJOR is expected to expand their reach into the international EDM scene and fanbase through this collaboration with a talented domestic producer.

Debuting in 2023, 82MAJOR achieved a 'career high' with their mini 4th album 'TROPHY,' surpassing 100,000 copies sold within five days of release, showcasing consistent growth. All members participated in songwriting and composition, highlighting their capabilities as a 'self-producing idol group.' They have been praised for strengthening their competitiveness in both music and performance. Building on this momentum, they will hold their first fan meeting in Tokyo, Japan, in December, further expanding their activities.

Meanwhile, 82MAJOR's 'TROPHY (Jeonghyeon Remix)' will be available on various online music platforms today at noon.
