Sechskies' Kang Sung-hoon and Lehee Form Sibling Duo 'Gangnammae' for New Single 'JAEMINA'

Former Sechskies member Kang Sung-hoon teams up with Lehee (Kang Rae-hee), known for her work in the Japanese music scene, to form the sibling duo 'Gangnammae'.

Gangnammae, consisting of Kang Sung-hoon and Lehee, will release their new digital single 'JAEMINA' in collaboration with Japanese DJ GINTA on October 15th at midnight across global online music platforms.

The single 'JAEMINA' includes two tracks: the title track 'JAEMINA' and the song 'JUMPIN''. The title track 'JAEMINA' is characterized by its addictive EDM groove and dance beat, featuring a hook that combines Japanese and Korean, showcasing a crossover appeal that transcends language barriers.

The track 'JUMPIN'' is a high-energy song based on the hardstyle genre, with strong K-POP sound kicks and a fast-paced progression reminiscent of a festival atmosphere. The alternating use of Korean and Japanese in the rap and chorus is expected to elevate the song's energy.

The collaboration is further heightened by the involvement of renowned Japanese DJ GINTA, who gained massive popularity on TikTok with his hit 'UCHIDA1'. GINTA's 'UCHIDA1' topped the TikTok Japan music chart and led to a global project releasing new versions in various countries.

Last year, Gangnammae and GINTA made waves with the release of 'UCHIDA1 Korea Remix' as part of the global project. With 'JAEMINA', Gangnammae and GINTA aim to showcase their unique collaborative synergy once again.

The music video for Gangnammae's new digital single 'JAEMINA' will be released on October 14th at 6 PM, with the single available on global online music platforms from October 15th at midnight.
