Bang Yedam's Remix Album 'newvibe' Takes China by Storm

Singer Bang Yedam's remix album is creating a sensation in China.

According to Bang Yedam's agency, the title track 'Officially Cool (Vanto Remix)' from his remix project album 'newvibe', released at the end of October, has recently topped the Rising Chart and ranked 23rd on the New Songs Chart on China's largest music platform, NetEase Cloud Music.

Prior to this, Bang Yedam held a 'newvibe' listening party in September at the Itaewon Stadium in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, where he first unveiled the remix album to his domestic fans. The event received an enthusiastic response, paving the way for his successful pre-release in Korea and opening new horizons for K-EDM in China, solidifying his position as a global artist.

'newvibe' is an album that reinterprets Bang Yedam's signature songs with renowned domestic house music and EDM producers, including DJ TPA, Vanto, and SUNGYOO. The title track 'Officially Cool (Vanto Remix)' captivates listeners with the lovely voice of aespa's Winter and Bang Yedam's unique vocals, reborn with global DJ Vanto's distinctive house groove.

The track 'Lovin Ya (TPA Remix)' is reimagined by DJ TPA with his signature slap house EDM style. Unlike the original, which features a funky vibe from Gray and Bang Yedam, the remix emphasizes Bang Yedam's vocals with a slap house rhythm.

The final track, 'T.M.B (Self-Introduction) (SUNGYOO Remix)', is arranged by DJ SUNGYOO with disco and tech house sensibilities. It combines Bang Yedam's R&B flair to create a soulful EDM R&B atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Bang Yedam is actively participating in various shows, including JTBC's sports entertainment program 'Let's Play Soccer 4' and SBS's 'The Listen: Today, Reaching You'. Additionally, on the 14th, he will release a new song under his other persona, DIMO REX.
