2025 MAMA Awards: KPop Demon Hunters HUNTR/X vs. Saja Boys Showdown Announced

The '2025 MAMA Awards' will feature an exciting showdown between 'KPop Demon Hunters' HUNTR/X and the Saja Boys.

On the 11th, the '2025 MAMA Awards' press premiere was held at the CJ ENM Talent Studio in Sangam-dong, Seoul. The event was attended by Park Chan-wook, Head of Convention Business, PD Lee Young-joo, and PD Ma Doo-sik.

The '2025 MAMA Awards' will kick off at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on the 28th and continue until the 29th. Park Bo-gum will host the first day, while Kim Hye-soo will take the stage as host on the second day.

PD Ma Doo-sik, the chief director, stated, "Through the official collaboration with the Netflix animated film 'KPop Demon Hunters,' we plan to present a stage that transcends animation and reality. The battle between the Saja Boys and Huntrix over 'Hunmoon' will be recreated on stage."

K-Pop artists will transform into members of Huntrix and the Saja Boys. The '2025 MAMA Awards' team announced, "As this is an official collaboration performance, K-Pop artists from our country will become the Saja Boys and Huntrix. The lineup is in the final stages of preparation."

This year's ceremony theme is 'UH-HEUNG,' symbolizing a fearless embrace of one's identity across various regions, races, and cultures.

Performers on the first day include ALPHA DRIVE ONE, BABYMONSTER, BOYNEXTDOOR, BUMSUP, ENHYPEN, Hearts2Hearts, i-dle, IVE, MEOVV, MIRROR, NCT WISH, SUPER JUNIOR, TREASURE, and TWS. The second day will feature aespa, ALLDAY PROJECT, CORTIS, G-DRAGON, IDID, izna, JO1, KickFlip, Kyoka, RIIZE, Stray Kids, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and ZEROBASEONE.
