i-dle's Miyeon Embraces Bold New Image with 'My, Lover' Album Release

On November 3rd, Miyeon held a media showcase at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of her second mini-album, 'My, Lover.'
Discussing the concept of her pre-release track 'Reno,' Miyeon confessed, "The pre-release track was very intense for me. It's quite different from the music and image I've been known for, so I had a lot of concerns." She added, "However, it was a song I wanted to challenge myself with vocally. I was worried that the visual concept might seem overwhelming or difficult to approach."
She continued, "I was confident in the song itself and wanted to try it, so I took on the challenge. Having experienced intense images during group activities, I believed I could handle it on my own."
'"My, Lover' marks Miyeon's first album release in three years and six months since her debut mini-album 'MY' in 2022. The title track 'Say My Name' is a pop ballad that captures the lingering echo of a name even after a breakup. The pre-release track 'Reno (Feat. Colde)' quickly climbed to the top of major music platforms both domestically and internationally upon its release. Miyeon also contributed to the lyrics of the album's tracks 'F.F.L.Y' and 'You And No One Else.'
Miyeon's second mini-album 'My, Lover' will be available on various music streaming sites starting at 6 PM on November 3rd.
