Olivia Marsh, the sister of NewJeans' Danielle, is set to captivate listeners with her new emotionally charged single.

On the 30th at noon, Olivia Marsh will release her new track 'Too Good to be Bad' on major music platforms, showcasing a more mature voice and expressive range.

'Too Good to be Bad' is a pop song that delves into the story of a toxic relationship that one cannot escape. Much like a scene in a movie that repeats endlessly, it portrays an obsessive love filled with pain and scars, leaving a lasting impression on listeners.

Since debuting with her first single '42' last October, Olivia Marsh has been actively releasing music, including her first mini-album and contributing to the OST of the tvN drama 'Love, Take Two'. Recently, she showcased her ethereal voice in 'Lucky Me', featuring Wonstein. With her return in 'Too Good to be Bad', expectations are high for her deeper concept.

Below is a Q&A with Olivia Marsh:

Q. It's been about two months since your last release. Can you tell us about the process of creating 'Too Good to be Bad' and why you chose this song?
While working on this song, I took time to discover my true self. I wanted to show my authentic self and focused on that. I debuted by chance and initially didn't have the luxury to deeply think about 'me', but over time, I've been discovering my voice and color. This song captures the journey of finding positivity even in dark emotions and discovering a new self in the process.

This song started with re-examining 'myself in relationships'. I tend to be led by my partner, repeating similar patterns of love. Looking at myself from another's perspective, I thought, 'Shouldn't I lead love now?' and conveyed that desire to love authentically.

Q. The concept is darker than your previous work. What new challenges did you face?
People usually prefer to see the bright and positive sides of themselves. But through this song, I wanted to confront my darker and lacking sides. Expressing these emotions through music gives me new strength, and I feel myself changing. This time, honestly revealing my inner darkness was a new challenge.

Q. From your debut song '42' to this new release, your storytelling is clear. Where do you draw inspiration from, and were there songs that took particularly long or short to create?
I usually work with various producers. I start by listening to beats or demos, and when I find a song that naturally aligns with my emotions, I'm drawn to it. 'Too Good to be Bad' resonated with me immediately, allowing for quick immersion and progress. Conversely, '42' took the longest as I wanted to sincerely capture childhood memories and emotions, making it a very special song.

Q. Since debuting last October, you've been busy with singles, a mini-album, and OST releases. How do you feel you've grown as an artist?
I still feel like I'm in the process of finding myself. However, looking back at my early days, I now have a better sense of direction. I'm gradually becoming clearer about what I want to do and the kind of music I want to convey. Although I'm not 100% certain yet, I want to find my path through more experiences.

Q. What kind of reaction do you hope to receive from the public with this release?
I hope those who have had similar thoughts or experiences can relate to my song. If they find comfort or discover a new side of themselves, I would be truly happy. Above all, I hope people freely enjoy and feel my music.

Q. Are there any genres you want to explore or how do you want to be remembered as an artist?
I want to try EDM. I want to create energetic songs that make listeners want to jump and dance. I hope to be remembered as someone who conveys genuine emotions and love through music.

Q. Lastly, any words for the fans who have been waiting for your new song?
Although I don't have a fandom name yet, I'm truly grateful to everyone who listens to and waits for my music. If my songs can give you strength or make you smile, that would be my greatest happiness.
