NCT 127's Doyoung and Jungwoo Set to Fulfill Military Service Obligations
SM Entertainment announced on the 30th that both Doyoung and Jungwoo will be enlisting. According to SM, Doyoung will begin his military service on December 8th, starting with basic training at a training camp before serving as an active-duty soldier in the army.
Regarding Jungwoo, SM stated, "He applied to the army band and received his final acceptance notification from the Military Manpower Administration on October 29th. He will enter the training camp on December 8th for basic military training before serving in the army band."
There will be no special events on the day of their enlistment. SM urged fans to refrain from visiting the site, emphasizing, "As it is a place shared with many military personnel and their families, we ask for fans' cooperation in ensuring safety."
The agency concluded by saying, "We ask for your unwavering love and support for Doyoung and Jungwoo as they diligently fulfill their military duties and return in good health."
Born in 1996, Doyoung is an active member of NCT, NCT 127, NCT U, and NCT DoJaeJung. Since his solo debut in April last year, he has been actively pursuing a solo career. Jungwoo, born in 1998, is also a member of NCT, NCT 127, NCT U, and NCT DoJaeJung. He has announced plans for a solo debut later this year.
