Lim Young-woong Tops Poll as Most Desired Trot Singer to Share a Warm Meal With
From October 16 to October 22, TENASIA conducted a poll asking, 'Which male trot singer would you like to share a warm meal with?'
Lim Young-woong secured the top spot. On October 22, he shared insights into his album production and the message behind his title track on his YouTube channel, stating, "'Like the Moment is Eternal' is a song with lyrics I really want to share with many people." He added, "The lyrics are so uplifting that I believe listeners will find strength in them. Despite the many frustrating things in the world, I hope people can laugh and love freely, even if there are sad days, thinking 'it's okay.'"
In second place is Song Min-jun, who appeared on SBS Life's 'The Trot Show' on October 20, performing the title track 'Diary（그림일기）' from his first mini-album 'Prologue.' Dressed in a sleek suit, Song captivated viewers with his soft and delicate voice, expressing deep emotions and enhancing the stage's immersion. His poignant voice conveyed longing, seamlessly transitioning between low and high notes with stable vocal prowess.
Third place goes to Taebaek, who gained recognition through MBN's 'Burning Trotman（불타는 트롯맨）' in 2023. Starting as a musical actor and transitioning through a performance group to debut as a trot singer, Taebaek has made a mark with enthusiastic responses from Vietnamese audiences and expatriate stages. Known for his overflowing talent and energy, he continues to be active under the nickname 'Energy Boy.'
