Alternative K-pop group Balming Tiger has teamed up with global artist Yaeji for a groundbreaking collaboration that transcends borders and languages.

On the 16th at 6 PM, Balming Tiger and Yaeji will release their double single 'wo ai ni' and 'break it even' across various online music platforms.

This collaboration stems from a long-standing mutual admiration and connection. Balming Tiger and Yaeji, who have supported each other's music from afar, were introduced through HYUKOH's Oh Hyuk and began working together in earnest last year. Prioritizing on-site synergy and communication, the two teams met multiple times between New York and Seoul, culminating in the completion of this double single after a year of collaboration.

The title track 'wo ai ni' explores the universal expression of 'I love you' in multiple languages. The teams have crafted a musical message of love that transcends language and borders, infusing the track with a refreshing and warm mood reminiscent of a cool autumn breeze. Last month, on the 27th, the two teams captivated music fans with their first joint performance of 'wo ai ni' at the Busan International Rock Festival.

The music video, released alongside the single, is directed by Balming Tiger member Jan' Qui. As the first official video incorporating fan participation, it is expected to deliver a unique resonance to global fans through the fusion of music and visuals.

The accompanying track 'break it even' captures a different autumnal vibe. Inspired by the industrial landscape and gray cityscape encountered by Balming Tiger members at Yaeji's studio in Brooklyn, New York, the song conveys a sense of melancholy yet comforting emotion.

Having carved out unique paths in the domestic and international music scenes, Balming Tiger and Yaeji are set to showcase another leap forward with this collaboration.
