K-Pop Star Lee Chan-won Boosts Comeback Anticipation with 'Random Mission' Challenges
K-pop singer Lee Chan-won has heightened anticipation for his comeback by taking on 'Random Mission' challenges.

On October 8 and 14, Lee Chan-won shared the second and third 'Random Mission' content on his official social media channels, as part of the promotional activities for his upcoming second studio album, 'Chanran (燦爛)'. The 'Random Mission' involves drawing a random task to complete within a set time limit, with a penalty of additional short-form challenge missions during music show promotions if failed.

In the second 'Random Mission' released on October 8, Lee Chan-won successfully completed an acrostic poem using the title of his new song, 'Today Somehow'. He confidently crafted a poem that impressed the staff, showcasing his eloquence and versatility as a variety show host.

The third 'Random Mission', unveiled on October 14, saw Lee Chan-won humorously drawing a 'fail' card, which requires him to perform additional short-form challenges during his music show promotions. Despite the setback, he remained optimistic and determined to give his best effort.

In addition to the 'Random Mission', Lee Chan-won has also released a preview clip of the track 'My Long Journey' from his upcoming album, set against the backdrop of an old amusement park. His clear and pure visuals, combined with his distinctive voice, evoke nostalgia and anticipation for his comeback.

Lee Chan-won's second studio album, 'Chanran (燦爛)', features a total of 12 tracks, including the title track 'Today Somehow', 'Fallen Leaves', 'First Love', 'Mother's Spring Day', 'My Long Journey', and 'Shining Star'. The album spans various genres such as pop-style country, ballad, Eurodance, soft rock, and jazz, delivering messages of comfort, confession, memories, and hope. Renowned producers like Cho Young-soo, Roy Kim, Kim Eana, Rocoberry, Lee Yoo-jin, Han Gil, Five Talents, and Lee Kyu-hyung have contributed to the album's high quality.

'Chanran (燦爛)' is set to be released on October 20 at 6 PM.
