K-Pop Demon Hunters OST Faces Billboard Chart Shake-Up Amid Taylor Swift's Dominance

According to Billboard on the 14th, the 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' (referred to as 'KDH') OST track 'Golden' has dropped to 13th place on the upcoming Hot 100 chart dated the 18th. This marks a 12-spot fall from its previous position at number one. The top 12 spots on the chart are currently occupied by tracks from Taylor Swift's 12th album, 'The Life of a Showgirl.'
'Golden' had previously held the number one spot for seven consecutive weeks, totaling eight weeks at the top, making it the second-longest-running K-pop song at number one after BTS's 'Butter,' which held the position for 10 weeks. Including this week, 'Golden' has been on the chart for 16 consecutive weeks, with potential to re-enter the top three next week.
Additionally, all eight tracks from the 'KDH' OST have entered the Hot 100 this week, marking the 14th consecutive week of group charting. Rival group Lion Boys' 'Soda Pop' is at 19th, 'Your Idol' at 21st, while Huntrix's 'How It's Done' is at 28th, 'What It Sounds Like' at 36th, 'Takedown' at 40th, and the duet 'Free' by Lumi and Jinwoo is at 41st.
Notably, the remix version of 'Takedown' by TWICE members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung has also reached 71st place.
The 'KDH' OST album remains at number two on the Billboard 200, maintaining its position for 10 consecutive weeks.
Other K-pop artists continue to perform well on the charts, with TWICE's 'Strategy' at 72nd, Cats Eye's 'Gabriella' at 54th, Stray Kids' 'Karma' at 47th on the Billboard 200, and P1Harmony's 'EX' at 179th on the Billboard 200.
Meanwhile, Huntrix's Lumi, portrayed by Lee Jae in the live-action version, is set to engage with domestic fans at a press conference in Korea.
