BLACKPINK's Jisoo Collaborates with ZAYN on Chart-Topping Single 'EYES CLOSED'

BLACKPINK's Jisoo has teamed up with chart-topping male artist ZAYN for her latest single 'EYES CLOSED'.

Released on October 10th at 1 PM KST, the music video for 'EYES CLOSED' quickly soared to the top of YouTube Music's Worldwide Trending chart in 74 countries.

The track entered Spotify's Top Songs Global chart at number 21 and achieved high rankings on the Daily Top Songs chart in 32 countries. It also claimed the number one spot on iTunes Top Singles chart in 40 countries, as well as the top position on China's QQ Music and KuGou Daily Selling Singles chart.

Notably, with the release of 'EYES CLOSED', Jisoo surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify for her solo releases, a milestone reached in just 925 days with only eight songs. This makes her the first Korean female solo artist to achieve this feat.

'EYES CLOSED' tells the story of two individuals choosing love again after experiencing heartbreak. Featuring British pop star ZAYN, formerly of One Direction, the track showcases a unique chemistry between the artists. ZAYN, who left One Direction in 2015, achieved a Billboard Hot 100 number one with 'Pillowtalk' in 2016. He shares a daughter with famous model Gigi Hadid.

The synergy of Jisoo and ZAYN's distinctive vocals, along with the cosmic-themed music video's enchanting visuals, has captivated global music fans.
