K-pop group TWS (Shin Yu, Do Hoon, Young Jae, Han Jin, Ji Hoon, Kyung Min) has shed their school uniforms and returned with a more mature image.

On the 13th, TWS held a media showcase at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their fourth mini-album, 'Play Hard'.

The group has shown growth in various aspects while preparing for this album. Kyung Min stated, "We've grown visually. Ji Hoon, Han Jin, and I dyed our hair. We used to wear school uniforms a lot, but this time we've switched to techwear." Han Jin added, "We've grown in terms of physique and voice, and I felt that our music has evolved to match our growth."

As Han Jin mentioned, the new album features a noticeable change in sound. The album includes six tracks of various genres, such as the title track 'OVERDRIVE', the pre-released song 'Head Shoulders Knees Toes', 'HOT BLUE SHOES', 'Caffeine Rush', 'overthinking', and 'I'll Be Your Tomorrow'.

The pre-released track 'Head Shoulders Knees Toes' showcases TWS's intense charm. The group has previously attempted to broaden their musical spectrum with songs like 'Oh Mymy: 7s', 'Double Take', and 'Freestyle'. The new pre-release track boldly highlights this intense color. Young Jae expressed, "We wanted to surprise those who have listened to our music by making them think, 'Is this the TWS I know?'"

The title track 'OVERDRIVE' depicts TWS's passionate emotions and fiery enthusiasm when in love. Utilizing the guitar effect 'OVERDRIVE' tone, the song cleverly expresses the overheated feelings towards a loved one. The addictive guitar theme riff, combined with heavy drum tones and a bouncy bassline, delivers a refreshing yet energetic charm. Member Ji Hoon participated in writing the lyrics, infusing his affection for the team.

TWS's fourth mini-album 'Play Hard' will be released at 6 PM today.
