NMIXX Expands Their Reach with Debut Studio Album 'Blue Valentine'

NMIXX, the 'Hexagon Girl Group,' is set to broaden their impact with their first studio album.

On the 13th, NMIXX will release their debut studio album, 'Blue Valentine.' This marks their return approximately seven months after their previous mini-album, 'Fe3O4: FORWARD,' released in March. With enhanced skills and charm, they are ready to captivate K-pop fans once again.

The new album marks the conclusion of the 'Fe3O4' series, which explored stories set in the 'FIELD,' a representation of the real world, and opens a new chapter. It delves into emotions experienced during the 'Blue Valentine Stage' on their journey to MIXXTOPIA. Through various content like prologue films, concept photos, and webtoons, the album visualizes unavoidable conflicts and the duality of love, enhancing engagement.

The title track, 'Blue Valentine,' expresses the desire to ignite warmth in cold hearts at the point where emotions clash. It features melancholic synth sounds and guitar riffs, with a dynamic boom-bap rhythm adding depth. The music video promises to enhance the listening experience with its dreamy visuals and dramatic scenes.

The album includes 12 tracks, led by the title track 'Blue Valentine,' and features songs like 'SPINNIN' ON IT,' 'Phoenix,' 'Reality Hurts,' 'RICO,' 'Game Face,' 'PODIUM,' 'Crush On You,' 'ADORE U,' 'Shape of Love,' 'O.O Part 1 (Baila),' and 'O.O Part 2 (Superhero).'

Notably, tracks 11 and 12 are divided into two parts of their debut song 'O.O,' which pioneered the 'MIXX POP' genre by blending multiple genres into one track. This serves as a special gift for fans who have long awaited its official release. Additionally, members Haewon and Lily contributed to the lyrics of 'PODIUM,' 'Crush On You,' and 'Reality Hurts,' showcasing the musicality of the 'Hexagon Girl Group.'

Members Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, BAE, Jiwoo, and Kyujin will host a countdown live event at 4:40 PM ahead of their comeback at 6 PM to celebrate the release of their first studio album, 'Blue Valentine.' They will also hold their first solo concert under the group's name on November 29-30.
