KATSEYE's Meteoric Rise: Dominating Billboard and Beyond
According to the latest Billboard charts released on October 11, KATSEYE's second EP 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS' features the track 'Gabriela,' which has climbed to No. 50 on the 'Hot 100,' marking a six-spot rise from the previous week and its 11th consecutive week on the chart. Another track from the EP, 'Gnarly,' originally released as a digital single in April, has re-entered the 'Hot 100' at No. 95, showcasing a remarkable chart resurgence over five months after its release.
With these tracks leading the way, the entire EP 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS' has been well-received, securing the No. 39 spot on the 'Billboard 200.' KATSEYE has maintained a presence on this chart for 14 consecutive weeks, peaking at No. 4 on July 12.
KATSEYE's debut EP 'SIS (Soft Is Strong)' is also experiencing a resurgence. This week, it ranks No. 34 on Billboard's 'Top Album Sales' and No. 30 on 'Top Current Album Sales.' These charts rank albums based solely on physical sales, and the reappearance of 'SIS (Soft Is Strong),' released in August 2024, is noteworthy.
KATSEYE is also showcasing its strong presence on Spotify and the UK Official Charts. On Spotify's 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart (September 26 - October 2), 'Gabriela' secured the No. 10 spot, while it reached No. 39 on the UK 'Official Singles Top 100' (October 3-9), marking the group's highest position to date.
KATSEYE's enduring popularity has been fueled by performances at major festivals and award shows. Their performances at 'Lollapalooza Chicago' in August and 'Summer Sonic 2025' have sparked a resurgence in their chart rankings.
KATSEYE is set to embark on their first solo North American tour, with 16 shows across 13 cities starting in November. They are also confirmed to participate in the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the largest music festival in the U.S., in April next year.
