Lim Young-woong Tops Poll as Most Desired Trot Singer for Shopping in Hongdae

Lim Young-woong has been voted as the number one male trot singer people want to go shopping with in Hongdae.

From the 18 to 24, TENASIA conducted a poll asking, 'Which male trot singer would you like to go shopping with in Hongdae?'

Lim Young-woong secured the top spot. On the 26th, his fan club, 'Hero Era Gyeonggi Northern Lounge,' announced a donation of 500kg of kimchi to Goyang-dong, Deokyang-gu, in celebration of Chuseok. The donated kimchi will be distributed to 50 low-income households facing economic difficulties. Kang Bok-hee, the head of the Hero Era Gyeonggi Northern Lounge, stated, "We wanted to continue the positive influence of singer Lim Young-woong, so we gathered our members' support." She added, "Although it's a small gesture, we hope it brings strength and comfort to our neighbors." A Goyang City official also expressed gratitude, saying, "We thank the members for their precious sharing for our marginalized neighbors. The donated kimchi will be delivered carefully to low-income families."

Song Min-jun came in second place. He successfully concluded his solo concert in Daejeon, sharing a heartfelt time with fans. On the 20, at 1 PM and 6 PM, the '2025 Song Min-jun Album Release Concert Prologue' was held at the Woosong Art Hall in Daejeon. This concert was part of a national tour commemorating the release of his first mini-album 'Prologue' in July, and it received enthusiastic responses from fans in both Seoul and Daejeon.

Park Se-wook ranked third. As both a singer and a musical actor, he continues to engage with audiences on stage. He gained recognition by winning 'Voice Trot' and later made a strong impression by re-challenging in 'Mr. Trot 2.' On October 3, he is set to perform at the '2025 Gapyeong Jatgoeul Market Romantic Concert' on a special stage at Gapyeong Jatgoeul Market. This concert has been held for six years to promote local commerce and community harmony.
