YUQI's Debut Single Tops Music Charts Globally

(G)I-DLE's YUQI has achieved a remarkable feat with her debut single, 'Motivation', reaching the top of music charts both domestically and internationally.

Released on the 16th, YUQI's first single has dominated the digital album best-seller daily charts on China's largest music platforms, QQ Music and Kugou Music. The title track 'M.O.' and the pre-released song 'Afda' have also secured top positions on QQ Music's comprehensive music video charts.

In South Korea, 'M.O.' soared to the top of Bugs' real-time chart, while both 'M.O.' and 'Afda' made their way into Melon's HOT100 (30-day) chart.

YUQI's influence extends beyond Asia, as 'M.O.' charted in eight countries on the US iTunes charts, and 'Afda' appeared in two countries, showcasing her global appeal.

The title track 'M.O.' is a 1990s boom bap-inspired hip-hop track, written and composed by YUQI herself. It conveys a message about the power of intuition and conviction, free from societal constraints.

YUQI is set to make her first music show appearance on Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 18th.
