The KingDom Announces Surprise Comeback with Special Album
The KingDom (members Dan, Arthur, Mujin, Louis, Ivan, and Jahan) announced their return through a 'coming soon' image on their official social media channels at midnight on the 11th, revealing that the special album will be released on the 23rd at 6 PM.
This album is a gift for their fans, known as KingMakers, who have supported them for a long time. However, there is some bittersweet news as well. Leader Dan has enlisted in the army earlier than expected due to a notice from the Military Manpower Administration. As a result, The KingDom will continue their activities as a five-member group, including this comeback.
Known for their unique stages with an oriental fantasy concept, The KingDom plans to showcase their 'cinematic idol' persona once again with this special album. The 'coming soon' image featuring the phrase 'History Of Kingdom is Back' hints at the continuation of their signature narrative and universe, raising anticipation among fans.
Debuting in 2021, The KingDom has been unfolding their 'History Of Kingdom' universe, which consists of seven parts. Last year, they announced the start of a new Chapter 2 universe, achieving consistent success both domestically and internationally with their distinctive concept. Notably, they became the first fourth-generation idol group to top five charts on Amazon Music in the U.S. and entered the Billboard 'World Digital Song Sales' chart Top 10 three times consecutively. They are also rapidly expanding their international fanbase, having been featured in the Grammy Recording Academy's 'Global Spin' series.
