Sung Han-bin of the group ZEROBASEONE has issued a public apology for his remarks on a variety show.

On September 7, Sung Han-bin took to a fan communication platform to express his regret, stating, "I apologize for the discomfort caused by my careless words and actions in the 'Ggondaehee' video released on the 6th."

He continued, "I needed some time to organize my thoughts and address this matter. This experience has made me reflect on how much more careful I need to be with my words and actions, and how I should present myself moving forward."

Sung Han-bin admitted, "In the midst of nervousness, I used expressions without deep thought. Although there was no intention behind it, I realized that my ignorance could cause hurt, and I feel nothing but shame and regret."

He further apologized, "I sincerely apologize once again to the ZEROSE and everyone who felt uncomfortable due to my shortcomings. I will take this incident as a lesson to move forward with more responsibility and maturity. I promise to learn diligently and strive to show a changed demeanor through my actions. I am truly sorry once again."

Previously, Sung Han-bin appeared on the YouTube channel 'Ggondaehee' with fellow member Seok Matthew. During the show, Seok Matthew mentioned, "Han-bin always has a clean image, but he makes a sound every time we go over a speed bump." Sung Han-bin then mimicked going over a bump and made a sound reminiscent of a moan, adding "yummy," which sparked a 19+ controversy.

Following the backlash, Sung Han-bin initially apologized on the fan platform, stating, "There was no other intention, and I was overly eager for airtime. I apologize to any ZEROSE who felt uncomfortable." Despite his apology, negative reactions persisted, leading the 'Ggondaehee' team to remove the controversial scene, and Sung Han-bin issued a second apology.

Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE released their first full album 'NEVER SAY NEVER' on September 1.
