CIX Gears Up for Comeback with New EP 'GO Chapter 1: GO Together'

CIX is set to make a comeback with their latest mini-album. Debuting in July 2019, the group is now in their seventh year, a period often associated with the '7-year jinx' due to contract expirations and lineup changes. Last August, member Bae Jinyoung left the group following the expiration of his contract, leading CIX to continue as a four-member group. This comeback marks their second mini-album release this year, following their January activities.

CIX (BX, Seunghun, Yonghee, Hyunsuk) released an album preview video at midnight on the 4th via their official YouTube channel, featuring snippets of all four tracks from their eighth EP, 'GO Chapter 1: GO Together'.

The highlight of the title track 'Curious About You' showcases CIX's energetic vocals and sophisticated pop sound, offering an addictive experience. With leader and main rapper BX contributing to the songwriting and composition, the track has been praised by global fans for capturing CIX's unique style.

The lyrics, which explore irresistible curiosity, include lines like "You know what I want. Don't hide it anymore, Show me your light. Call me baby, call me baby. By your by your everything. Finally found Seraphim. Whisper sweetly In my word," adding to the intrigue of CIX's stage presence.

The EP also features 'S.O.S', with its dreamy melody and precise bassline, 'UPSTANDER', driven by the members' captivating voices and direct storytelling, and 'You in My Fantasy', a song about sweet yet cruel longing. These tracks collectively highlight CIX's distinctive musical style.

'GO Chapter 1: GO Together' is the first album in CIX's 'GO' series, continuing the strong storytelling from their previous 'HELLO' and 'OK' series. BX has dedicated significant effort to three of the tracks, including the title song.
