DAY6 Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Spectacular Performance and New Album Preview

DAY6 kicked off their 'DAY6 10th Anniversary Tour 'The DECADE'' on the 31st at Goyang Sports Complex. The band opened the show with their hit songs 'A Page,' 'Melting,' and 'HAPPY,' dazzling the audience with confetti and fireworks. Under Sungjin's lead, they greeted their fans and officially started the performance.

DAY6 premiered 'Disco Day,' a track from their upcoming fourth studio album 'The DECADE,' set to release on November 5th. The song features a nostalgic disco beat with lively bass and synth sounds. They also performed unreleased tracks like 'Dream Bus,' 'INSIDE OUT,' and 'Our Season,' capturing the audience's attention.

After performing 'Happy Days,' Young K asked the audience if they recognized any unfamiliar songs, to which Wonpil responded, "That was 'Disco Day' from our upcoming album. It's bouncy and has recreational elements. We briefly introduced it yesterday, but today everyone seems to know it already."
Recreating the clapping part from 'Disco Day,' the members marveled, "It's not even released yet," as the audience enthusiastically participated for about 10 seconds without any instrumental backing.

Wonpil expressed gratitude, saying, "Celebrating our 10th anniversary is thanks to all of you here. It feels like a festival created by us and My Day, something unforgettable. Thank you for gathering here."
Towards the end of the concert, a VCR played DAY6's title tracks in reverse chronological order, leading to their debut song 'Congratulations.' Wonpil explained, "The VCR took us back in time to our debut song. If that represents our past, 'Dream Bus' represents us now. It's been a while since we pre-released a song like this. Please listen to our fourth album."

Sungjin shared his thoughts on the 10th anniversary, saying, "We're a team that simply loves music. You make us look good. We take pride in having no songs to discard from the past 10 years. We've worked hard, but success isn't guaranteed. My Day has always been our driving force. We'll keep going as long as we can breathe. We'll return your overwhelming love, so please accept it gradually."
Wonpil acknowledged, "We know there are negative perceptions about us as an idol band. We wanted to counter that by creating good music and performances. Even when everyone doubted us, you believed in us. We've all done well and will continue to do so."
Finally, Dowoon expressed his gratitude to fans, saying, "We're not always virtuous, but we'll strive to move towards goodness as much as we've been loved. You made us and this stage. Be proud."

DAY6 will release their new studio album 'The DECADE' and its title tracks 'Dream Bus' and 'INSIDE OUT' on various music platforms at 6 PM on November 5th.
