The group NiziU has claimed the top spot in the Best Female Idol Group category at the 13th TOP TEN AWARDS (TTA), competing for the title of 'Best Global Artist.'

Organized by TENASIA, the 13th TTA is an event that selects the best global artists for the first half of 2025. Artists representing K-pop and K-content vied for the 'Best Global Artist' title at this prestigious event.

NiziU expressed their joy, stating, "We are thrilled to be named the Best Female Idol Group globally at the 13th TTA. This award is even more special because it was decided by fan votes. We want to thank our fans, WithU, for their unwavering support. We promise to work hard and show our best in the latter half of the year." They also added a heartfelt message to their fans, advising them to stay hydrated and healthy during the hot weather.

Debuting in Japan in December 2020, NiziU made their official debut in Korea with their first single album 'Press Play' in October 2023. They returned to the Korean music scene with their second single 'LOVE LINE' in March, achieving a music show win just nine days after their comeback, proving their popularity.

NiziU's global appeal extends beyond Korea and Japan. In June, they held a fan concert titled '2025 NiziU FAN-CON ーNiziUniverseー in Hong Kong' at the AsiaWorld-Expo Runway 11. This marked their first solo performance in Hong Kong since their debut and their first overseas concert in approximately 1 year and 4 months since their Taipei show in February 2024. The event featured various games, talk segments, and fan interactions, with members engaging with fans in the local language.

Expanding their global influence, NiziU is set to embark on a new tour in Japan starting September. The 'NiziU Live with U 2025' and 'NiziU Live with U 2026' tours will cover 21 cities with a total of 32 performances, marking the 'most performances by a group in a single tour.'

The preliminary voting for the TTA took place from May 19 to June 1, followed by the final voting from June 5 to 14. NiziU was selected in the female idol group category, while ASTRO was chosen in the male idol group category. BTS's V and BLACKPINK's Jisoo were named in the male and female solo idol categories, respectively. The rookie trophy went to NEXZ.
