ATEEZ's San is set to join Mnet's 'Boys II Planet' as the third Planet Master.

The unique hosting system of Mnet's 'Boys II Planet' (directed by Kim Shin-young, Jung Woo-young, and Ko Jung-kyung) includes not only vocal, dance, and rap expert masters but also special and planet masters who serve as role models for participants during each mission or situation, providing the momentum for growth.

San, a member of the globally beloved group ATEEZ, will join 'Boys II Planet' as the third Planet Master, following Ong Seong-wu and Jo Yu-ri. He will meet the 48 contestants competing for debut and will take on the role of MC for the second survival announcement ceremony. With his experience from world tours and survival programs, San is expected to offer heartfelt advice and encouragement to the participants.

San expressed his excitement about joining as a Planet Master, saying, "Having experienced the trainee days when my passion for dreams was at its peak, I am thrilled to connect with participants who share that same passion."

'Boys II Planet' will determine the 24 contestants advancing to the semi-finals through the second survival announcement ceremony. The third global voting results, closing on the 29th at 10 AM, will decide 23 survivors, while the lowest-ranked contestant will be determined through real-time voting during the live streaming of the announcement ceremony at 3 PM on the same day. The anticipation builds for unexpected twists and drama.

Meanwhile, according to Good Data Corporation's FUNdex, 'Boys II Planet' has maintained the top spot in the TV & OTT buzz category for three consecutive weeks in August, proving its dominance in global K-POP survival shows.

'Boys II Planet,' which will debut the official rookie K-POP boy group in 2025, continues its intense position battle stage on the 28th at 9:20 PM. The second survival announcement ceremony will be held on the global K-POP content platform Mnet Plus on the 29th at 3 PM.
