Eun Ga-eun Crowned 'Artist of the Month' for August by TENASIA

K-pop singer Eun Ga-eun has been named the 'Artist of the Month' for August.

TENASIA recently conducted a poll on their global voting service platform, Top Ten TENASIA, to select the 'Artist of the Month' among K-pop artists with August birthdays.

Eun Ga-eun, born on August 26, 1987, received the most votes among her peers, earning her the title. She debuted in May 2013 with the digital single 'Drop it.' Eun Ga-eun gained widespread attention when her rendition of 'Let It Go' from the Frozen soundtrack went viral on social media in 2014. She rose to public prominence by finishing in 7th place on 'Miss Trot 2.' Known for her versatility, she excels in both trot and ballad genres.

Eun Ga-eun is also a multi-talented entertainer, currently hosting the KBS 2Radio show 'Eun Ga-eun's Shining Trot(은가은의 빛나는 트로트),' which celebrated its 500th episode on August 6. She shared a photo of a blue cake adorned with gold decorations and a '500' candle on her social media. The cake featured congratulatory messages such as 'Congratulations on 500 episodes. Eun Ga-eun's Shining Trot. The most precious time at 2 PM now,' and 'Let's walk together forever, Eun-di.' Eun Ga-eun expressed her affection for the program, saying, 'Do you listen to the radio? In March, Eun Ga-eun released the single 'Promise,' marking a new chapter in her life. Known for her self-composed songs, she collaborated with singer Park Hyun-ho on this track. The song begins with a cello reminiscent of a wedding, focusing on the lyrics. It beautifully captures the bride's excitement and the promise of a lifetime together.

Eun Ga-eun married fellow trot singer Park Hyun-ho, who is five years her junior, in April. The couple showcased a stunning performance on KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs,' the show that brought them together. The 'Eun-Park couple' displayed their newlywed chemistry with a kiss-ending performance during the 'Trust Your Sister' special.

Eun Ga-eun continues to engage with fans through various performances and maintains a strong presence on entertainment shows with her candid and lively personality. She also stays connected with her audience through social media.
