Sunny of Girls' Generation Shares Insights on Self-Love and Growth in Exclusive Interview

The Life Insurance Social Contribution Foundation (Chairman Lee Jang-woo, hereafter referred to as the Life Insurance Foundation) announced on the 21st that it has released a special interview with Sunny, a member of Girls' Generation and an aspiring producer, through its mental growth platform 'PLAYLIFE'.

'PLAYLIFE' is a youth mental health platform operated by the Life Insurance Foundation since 2022, offering motivation and inspiration to young people through the experiences of various individuals. In this interview, Sunny, celebrating her 18th debut anniversary, candidly shares her experiences from her youth, aiming to convey methods of self-love and building a strong inner self.

As she prepares for her new role as a producer, Sunny stated, "As an artist, it's easy to lose confidence amidst public evaluation, but you must know how to love yourself to truly be loved." She emphasized the importance of self-care and building confidence.

Having studied psychology, Sunny has discovered ways to love herself and, based on her experiences, advises fellow artists and young people, "Everyone grows at their own pace. The key is to have a heart that loves oneself." She added, "True mental growth is achieved when you can embrace not only yourself but also those around you."

Reflecting on her 18th debut anniversary, Sunny shared, "I used to want to be someone impressive and extraordinary, but now I'm practicing accepting myself as I am." She noted, "Realizing that I can't satisfy everyone has made my heart much stronger."
