Members Bang Jun-hyuk, Song Min-jae, and Noh Hui-jun of the group MCND, under TOP Media, have concluded their journey on 'BOYS II PLANET.' Despite Bang Jun-hyuk being a finalist, he was ultimately eliminated, leaving fans disappointed. TOP Media, known for producing TEEN TOP, initially drew attention to MCND in 2020 as the 'younger brother group' of TEEN TOP. Following the show's conclusion, the three participants expressed gratitude on social media and urged fans to support their ongoing activities with MCND.
The fifth episode of Mnet's 'BOYS II PLANET,' aired on the 14th, revealed the results of the first survival announcement ceremony alongside the TOP8. The first and second global votes amassed a total of 62,967,080 votes from 217 countries and regions, surpassing the enthusiasm of Season 1's global star creators.

Among the surviving contestants chosen by star creators, Lee Sang-won claimed the top spot. Lee maintained his first-place position since the first week of the broadcast, securing his rank with an overwhelming vote count nearing 12.5 million. He notably held the top position in 170 countries and regions, including South Korea, Japan, the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Canada, demonstrating the fervent support of global star creators.
The first TOP8 was also unveiled. Zhou An Xin, who captivated global attention with the killing part of Planet C during the signal song showcase, surpassed 10 million points to secure second place. Following were Jeong Sang-hyun (3rd), Kim Jun-seo (4th), Lee Leo (5th), Chuei Li Yu(6th), Yoo Kang-min (7th), and Masato (8th), drawing attention to their potential debut.

Notably, Jun Lee-jeong, leader of Team 2 'First Meeting Doesn't Go as Planned,' climbed 11 spots to 23rd place with an additional 300,000 benefit points. He Xin Long, supported by global fandom for his 'Umbrella' narrative with Na Yun-seo, rose six spots to secure 9th place. Han Harry Jun took 47th place, while Yoon Min dramatically survived as the 48th place among the bottom four survival candidates through live voting.
