Mun Ka-young to Host Mnet's 'Steal Heart Club' as Solo MC

Actress Mun Ka-young, known for her role alongside Lee Jong-suk in 'Law and The City,' has been selected as the solo MC for 'Steal Heart Club' on Mnet.

Mnet's 'Steal Heart Club' is a program that captures the romance of youth, raw emotions, and the instinctive performances on stage, chronicling the formation of a global iconic band. Participants, gathered in band positions such as drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, and vocals, will engage in a survival competition to become the ultimate headliner band.

Mun Ka-young will serve as the first audience member to witness their passionate journey up close and act as the narrator guiding the emotional narrative. The production team stated, "Mun Ka-young is the perfect person to sincerely convey the participants' stories with her warm empathy and delicate sensibility. She will become a band curator, showcasing the project's universe and youth narrative while introducing the participants' great music."

This year, Mun Ka-young has demonstrated her wide acting range through the tvN drama 'The Guy is a Black Dragon' and the recently concluded 'Law and The City.' She plans to continue her active career in the latter half of the year with her role as the solo MC of 'Steal Heart Club' and her debut Asian fan meeting tour, where she will connect with international fans.

'Steal Heart Club' is set to premiere in October.
