The group NEXZ has claimed the top spot in the Best Rookie category at the 13th TOP TEN AWARDS (TTA), competing for the title of 'Best Global Artist'.

Organized by TENASIA, the 13th TTA is an event that selects the best global artists for the first half of 2025. Artists representing K-pop and K-content competed for the 'Best Global Artist' title at the 13th TTA.

NEXZ expressed, "We are honored to have won the Best Rookie category at the 2025 TTA. We are grateful to our fans, NEX2Y, for their votes. We are currently meeting many fans through our debut world tour, which continues until mid-August. We plan to return with even more exciting performances in the second half of the year, so please look forward to it."

Debuting globally in May last year with their first single 'Ride the Vibe', NEXZ has been steadily growing and expanding their influence. Their mini 2nd album 'O-RLY?', released in April, topped the weekly album charts on domestic music sites Hanteo Chart and Circle Chart. Their second Japanese EP album 'One Bite', released in July, reached number one on the Oricon Daily Album Ranking and Billboard Japan's 'Top Album Sales' chart on July 15.

Starting in Kanagawa in June, NEXZ has been successfully conducting their debut live tour 'NEXZ LIVE TOUR 2025 "One Bite"'. They made a solo appearance at Tokyo Budokan, known as the 'holy ground of Japanese performances', on July 18-19. The tour continues with stops in Fukuoka on August 13, Hiroshima on August 14, Tochigi on August 16, and Osaka on August 20-21.

The preliminary voting for the TTA took place from May 19 to June 1, followed by the final voting from June 5 to 14. NEXZ won the Rookie category trophy. In the male idol group category, ASTRO was selected, while NiziU was chosen for the female idol group category. BTS's V and BLACKPINK's Jisoo were named in the male and female solo idol categories, respectively.
