L'Impératrice to Dazzle South Korea with Their First Solo Concert in December

With their elegant and dreamy soundscapes, L'Impératrice has already become a staple in many playlists worldwide, and their upcoming performance in South Korea is highly anticipated. The band, whose name means 'The Empress,' has captivated the global indie scene with their enchanting blend of retro disco, nu-disco, and French electronic music.
Originally started as a solo project by composer Charles de Boisseguin in 2012, L'Impératrice has released three studio albums, establishing a unique disco sound with hits like 'Vanille Fraise,' 'Peur des filles,' and 'Matahari.' Despite singing in French, they have received acclaim at major festivals such as Coachella, Primavera Sound, and Lollapalooza. Now, they are ready to meet their South Korean fans for the first time.
L'Impératrice's live performances are known for engaging not just the ears but also the eyes and emotions. Their cosmic visuals, genre-crossing ad-libs, and spontaneous performances create an interactive experience that transcends language barriers, uniting everyone in dance and rhythm. This tour marks the debut of their new lineup with vocalist 'Rouve,' following the departure of 'Flore Benguigui,' offering fans a chance to experience the band's evolved live show.
In South Korea, L'Impératrice has gained a reputation among indie music fans as a band that fills the void left by Daft Punk. Their music is frequently discussed in major communities and playlists, gradually increasing their recognition in the country. Their third studio album, 'Pulsar,' showcases the band's evolution with more global collaborations and linguistic expansion, featuring artists like Maggie Rogers and Erick the Architect. The album, entirely self-produced by the band, highlights their sophisticated style and unique sound.
The upcoming concert will feature a setlist that includes their major hits and tracks from 'Pulsar,' promising an immersive performance. L'Impératrice's first solo concert in South Korea, part of the 'L'Impératrice PULSAR ASIA TOUR 2025,' will take place on December 3rd at 8 PM at the Shinhan Card SOL Pay Square Live Hall in Seoul's Seogyo-dong. Tickets will be available for purchase starting at 6 PM on November 22, 2025, via NOL Ticket.
