As One's Lee Min Passes Away at 47: Tributes Pour In for the Beloved Singer

Composer Yoon Il-sang shared the cover photo of As One's debut album 'Day By Day' and wrote, "I will always remember your unique and beautiful voice. Working with you was always a joy. Rest in peace, Rest in music." Yoon Il-sang had a long-standing relationship with As One, collaborating on hits like 'You Only Don't Know' and 'Break'.

A staff member who worked with Lee Min shared a photo and reminisced, "During the 10 years with As One, Min-young always embraced me warmly. She was like a real sister, always looking out for us and greeting us with a bright smile."
Crystal, the other member of As One residing in the U.S., is returning to Korea upon hearing the news. A representative from As One stated, "Crystal is deeply saddened and is on her way back, expected to arrive as early as tomorrow."
According to Lee Min's agency, Brand New Music, she was found deceased at her home on the afternoon of the 5th. Her husband was the first to discover her, and the police are investigating the cause of death.
Lee Min had recently resumed her activities with the release of the new song 'Happy Birthday' in June. In May, she appeared on KBS 2TV's music program 'The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile', marking her return to the stage after three years. As One performed various hit songs, evoking nostalgia among the audience and viewers, with Lee Min's unchanged vocals and emotion captivating the atmosphere.
Debuting in 1999 as part of the duo As One, Lee Min was loved for numerous hits including 'Want and Resent', 'Day By Day', 'Absolutely Not', and 'Should I Be Sorry'. In 2013, she married a Korean office worker two years her senior in Hawaii.
