2NE1's Park Bom Steps Back from Group Activities Due to Health Concerns
On November 6, Park Bom's agency, D-Nation Entertainment, announced via their official social media channels that Park Bom will not be participating in 2NE1's upcoming schedules. The agency stated, "After receiving medical advice that she needs sufficient rest and stability, we have made the difficult decision after thorough discussions."
The agency further requested, "We ask for the warm encouragement of fans to support Park Bom's recovery. Additionally, we would appreciate your support for Sandara Park, CL, and Gong Minzy, who will do their best to fill Park Bom's absence."
Concerns about Park Bom's health and condition have been ongoing, with fans worried about her ability to continue activities with 2NE1. Park Bom has previously raised eyebrows with her unusual social media activities, including heavily edited selfies and self-proclaimed relationships with male celebrities. Notably, she canceled her performance at the 'Waterbomb Busan' event on the day of the show, an uncommon occurrence for artists.
