Tomorrow X Together Aims for Billboard Success with New Album 'The Name Chapter: TOGETHER'

Tomorrow X Together (TXT), the popular K-pop group consisting of Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai, celebrated the release of their fourth studio album, 'The Name Chapter: TOGETHER', with a media showcase at Kyung Hee University's Peace Hall in Seoul on the 21st.

This album marks their first full-length release in approximately 1 year and 9 months since 'The Name Chapter: FREEFALL' in October 2023. It features a total of 8 tracks, including the title track 'Beautiful Strangers'.

Taehyun explained, "As always, we worked hard to ensure our unique color shines through. This album reflects our thoughts on the meaning of being together, just like its title." Yeonjun added, "This album embodies our team's identity the most. One of the strengths of our albums is the narrative coherence, making it a perfect album in that sense."

TXT has a diverse fan base, but they are especially beloved by younger audiences, earning the nickname 'Elementary School President'. Soobin shared, "My nephew is in elementary school and often boasts about us being popular at his school. It makes me proud and grateful." Yeonjun also expressed gratitude for the love they receive.

Taehyun added, "Being called 'Elementary School President' is delightful. It's touching to be an artist who shared a period with them. Just like I had artists I grew up watching, these kids will one day say, 'Back in our elementary school days, it was Tomorrow X Together.'"

Director Maggie Kang of 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' previously mentioned that she drew inspiration from TXT when conceptualizing the fictional boy group 'Lion Boys'. Yeonjun commented, "I believe 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' elevated K-pop's status. I'm grateful they used us as a reference for their characters."

Having debuted in 2019, TXT is now in their seventh year, and with their contract renewal approaching, fans are curious about their future. Soobin hinted at positive developments, stating, "We are discussing contract renewals, and all five of us share the same opinion."

TXT's agency, Big Hit Music, is set to introduce a new boy group in August, marking the first direct juniors for TXT in about six years. Beomgyu expressed his support, saying, "I met with the juniors yesterday. They're adorable, hardworking, and impressive. I want to cheer them on." He added, "BTS encouraged us to work hard, and they took good care of us. I want to be a great senior to our juniors."

Hueningkai also shared, "We met the junior group a few months ago and again yesterday. They wanted to show us their stage, and I wanted to shower them with praise. I'm excited for their debut and want to cherish them as our first juniors in six years."

TXT is aiming for the Billboard charts with this album. Taehyun stated, "I once said that if you dream big, even the pieces are big when it breaks. I think that's true, so we're setting our sights high. We want to reach number one on the Billboard 'Hot 100'."

The title track 'Beautiful Strangers' is a hip-hop track with a trap rhythm, featuring a contrast between its sweet melody and explosive accompaniment. Through this song, TXT tells the story of 'me' growing with the strength received from 'you' and 'us' being more beautiful because we're unique, concluding the 'Star Chapter' narrative.

Tomorrow X Together's fourth studio album, 'The Name Chapter: TOGETHER', is set to be released at 6 PM today.
