Monsta X Celebrates 10th Anniversary and Looks Forward to the Next Decade

On the afternoon of the 16th, Monsta X held a press conference at Conrad Seoul to commemorate their 10th anniversary. The members shared various insights about their anniversary concert 'CONNECT X'.
When asked about their plans for the next decade, member Minhyuk commented, "I think our members are quite laid-back. We are grateful for what we have, but we don't make a big deal out of it. When our 10th anniversary came, instead of focusing on its significance, we decided to work even harder because of the love we've received. I think the next 10 years will be the same. We just want to keep going."
Kihyun added, "We recently talked about the next 10 years while preparing for the concert. By then, we'll all be in our 40s, including our youngest member. We joked about how we would dance then." He continued, "Even if we can't perform powerful dances like now, I think we'll have a different kind of charm."
Jooheon, responding to Kihyun's comments, said, "People call us 'beast idols', and I wonder if we can maintain that image for our 20th anniversary. But we work out a lot, so I hope we remain unchanged."
Monsta X began their military hiatus in 2021 with leader Shownu, and as of May, all members except I.M have completed their service and announced their return to activities. Their 10th anniversary concert 'CONNECT X' will be held from the 18th to the 20th at Seoul's KSPO DOME. This marks their first concert in three years since their tour in September 2022.
Following their Seoul performances, Monsta X will head to Japan for two shows on August 27th and 28th to continue their 'CONNECT X' tour.
