AHOF Set to Debut with Mini Album 'WHO WE ARE': A Journey of Growth and Reconciliation

The debut of the group AHOF is just two days away.

AHOF, consisting of members Steven, Seo Jung-woo, Cha Woong-ki, Zhang Shuai-bo, Park Han, JL, Park Joo-won, Zuen, and Daisuke, is set to officially debut in the music industry with their first mini album 'WHO WE ARE' on July 1st.

The debut is particularly noteworthy as it brings together Cha Woong-ki and Zhang Shuai-bo, who previously had a conflict on Mnet's 'Boys Planet' two years ago. During the show, their teamwork was criticized due to Zhang Shuai-bo's perceived lack of effort, which angered viewers. However, they reunited on SBS's 'Universe League' and demonstrated a reconciled relationship, now debuting as part of the same group.

'WHO WE ARE' centers on the theme of 'sincerity,' capturing the journey the members have walked together. The album includes six tracks: the title track 'Rendezvous,' 'Boy, Falling on Stage (Intro),' 'Blue School, Green Grass, Red Sneakers,' 'Not Unfinished,' 'The Universe's Best Loser,' and 'Nine, Our Shining Number (Outro).'

AHOF, formed through 'Universe League,' consists of nine members who emerged victorious from intense competition. The album marks their first step and the beginning of their journey to find their unique identity as a team. It narrates the story of diverse members coming together as one, expressing gratitude to fans, and sharing the excitement, anxiety, and struggles they experienced while preparing for their debut. As the album title suggests, AHOF conveys the message that they are "not perfect, but a team with more potential and growth." Their commitment to showcasing authenticity through music is evident.

The album's musical quality is also noteworthy, with K-pop hitmaker El Capitan participating as a producer. Having closely observed the formation of the team as the director of 'Universe League,' El Capitan helped shape AHOF's musical identity during their time together.

Cha Woong-ki contributed to the lyrics of the title track 'Rendezvous,' adding depth to the album's theme of 'sincerity.' The six tracks flow organically like a single story, allowing listeners to naturally follow AHOF's emotions and growth. The members' determination to capture both musicality and authenticity is clear.

AHOF will release 'WHO WE ARE' on various online music platforms at 6 PM on July 1st, followed by a debut fan showcase at 8 PM, where they will officially meet their fans.
