Korean Vocal Group SonijiU Signs IP Deal with Artsro, Set to Release First Single
The vocal group SonijiU, consisting of Son Seung-yeon, Lee Ye-jun, Ji Se-hee, and Yoo Sung-eun, has signed an IP contract with Artsro, Korea's largest performance distribution company.

On the 24th, Artsro announced, "SonijiU, a group of five artists with overwhelming vocal power and stage presence, is set to redefine the paradigm of female vocal groups in Korea. We will provide full support and plan to engage with the public frequently through concerts, broadcasts, and music releases."

SonijiU was originally formed as a project team in 2015 during KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs' god episode. The group, which included the late Woo Hye-mi, won with their performance of 'One Candle,' garnering significant attention. Their powerful vocal synergy earned them the nickname 'Vocal Avengers,' and they have continued to receive acclaim since the broadcast.

Previously a broadcast project, SonijiU is now officially reuniting as a group after approximately nine years to embark on full-scale activities. The IP contract is signed under the group name SonijiU, while each member will maintain their individual contracts with their respective agencies, allowing them to balance solo careers and group activities. This new collaborative model is gaining attention for its innovative approach.

SonijiU is set to release their first single on July 15, eagerly preparing to meet music fans.
