Kang Daniel Opens a New Chapter with Sixth Mini Album 'Glow to Haze'
On October 16, Kang Daniel held a press conference at Park One Tower in Yeouido, Seoul, to celebrate the release of his sixth mini-album, 'Glow to Haze'.
Returning with new music after nine months, Kang Daniel shared, "Unlike my previous works, I participated heavily in the production of this album. I've infused my musical direction and message into it," he said, adding, "I'm nervous, having only slept three hours. I hope everyone likes it."
This album marks a turning point for Kang Daniel. "Having a track I composed on the album is a new chapter for me," he expressed. "I'm still nervous about being evaluated as a composer, but I hope any nickname I earn relates to the mood of my tracks."
Kang Daniel returns with an album reminiscent of a photo book, considering what aspects fans love about him. "The album jacket is styled like a photo shoot," he explained. "Fans seem to appreciate the fine art vibe more than a positive one, so I aimed for that."
Kang Daniel aims to showcase his growth as a solo artist in his seventh year. "I'm still not fully satisfied with myself and always find room for improvement," he said. "But I've accumulated a lot of experience and want to show that." He added, "I want my work to be unmistakably 'Kang Daniel'."
Kang Daniel's new album 'Glow to Haze' is set to release at 6 PM today.
